The VITAL FOOTBALL PROJECT is a football school established by Kazuki Hara, a former J.League professional player and founder of S.U.K Inc. When launching the company, his very first vision was to create such a football program.

This idea was inspired by Hara’s own childhood experience: as a young boy, he vividly remembers the excitement of directly witnessing professional footballers’ skills during a football clinic. ２．Compliance with promotion standards.

We will comply with the desirable business practices between parent companies and subcontractors (based on the 'Promotion Standards' under the Subcontracting Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Act), and proactively work to correct business practices and commercial customs that hinder the establishment of partnerships with trading partners.

①Price determination method
We will not make unreasonable requests for cost reductions. When determining transaction prices, we will respond to requests for discussions from subcontractors, and will fully discuss to ensure that the subcontractors' fair profits, including the impact of increases in labor costs, are taken into account. In contracts, including the determination of transaction prices, parent companies will provide explicit and documented terms and conditions.

②Cost burden of mold management, etc.
We conduct mold transactions based on contract templates, promote the disposal of unnecessary molds, and do not request subcontractors to store molds free of charge.

③Payment terms such as promissory notes
We will pay subcontractor fees in cash whenever possible. In cases where payment is made by promissory notes, we will not burden subcontractors with discount fees, and we will strive to ensure that payment is made within 60 days.

④Intellectual property and know-how
We conduct transactions based on guidelines for intellectual property transactions and templates for contracts. We do not require one-sided confidentiality agreements, disclosure of know-how, or free transfer of intellectual property rights using our position in the transaction.

⑤The repercussions of workstyle reform, etc.
We will not issue short-term orders or make sudden specification changes to subcontractors that do not involve fair cost burdens, in order to ensure that our trading partners can also adapt to workstyle reform. In times of disaster, we will not unilaterally burden subcontractors with excessive obligations in transactions, and we will strive to consider the continuation of trading relationships as much as possible when resuming business operations.

What is the certification of a company that will weave the next 1000 years?

The Kyoto City Social Innovation Cluster Initiative was originally established as a center for promoting the "Kyoto City Social Innovation Cluster Initiative," which aims to spread values that differ from excessive efficiency and competitive principles not only in Japan but also throughout the world, through the challenge of solving social issues in Kyoto by a wide variety of organizations and individuals, including citizens, companies, NPOs, and universities. The Kyoto City Social Innovation Institute (SILK), established in April 2015, conducts the screening process and certifies companies as "Companies that will weave the next 1,000 years".

To date, seven screening sessions have been held. We have encouraged 34 certified companies that contribute to solving social issues to play an active role as flag-bearers of social innovation in Kyoto.

The "Social and Community Contribution Category," in which we have been certified, was established in 2023 as a new category in the "Corporate Social Innovation Program for the Next 1,000 Years" to support companies that work to solve social issues and promote the SDGs through their daily business activities, and to expand the base of social innovation, amid growing momentum toward achieving the SDGs throughout society. This award was given in the first phase of the "Recognition of Companies That Will Spin the Millennium" program, which was newly established in fiscal 2023 to support companies that address social issues and promote the SDGs through their daily business activities, etc.

Kyoto Prefecture has been presenting the Governor's Commendation for Invention and Other Meritorious Service every year since 1957 to promote the importance of inventions and ingenuity, and to encourage the development of science and technology and the desire for inventions and ingenuity.

The development of the Smart Inspection Reporting Software ST (Smart ST) was recognized.

Award details

"Invention of a Building and Structural Survey Reporting System."
Ingenuity regarding the digitization of building and structural survey report preparation. We devised an application that allows the results of surveys of building deterioration, etc., to be input into a tablet on site and the report shared on the cloud. The application contributed to improved work efficiency by eliminating the need to carry paper drawings and writing materials and to input data at the office.

For these reasons, the "Smart ST" was selected as this year's recipient of the Award for Creativity and Ingenuity.

In fact, this system has a predecessor, "SINQA," and we started to improve the efficiency of on-site operations more than 10 years ago.

SINQA has been very effective in improving on-site efficiency and has brought tremendous benefits to our company's operations, but we had to upgrade the system to keep up with the technology of the world, and we have greatly renewed the system by adding many more useful functions to it. The new system is the "Smart Inspection Report Generation System ST".

We will continue to contribute to the SDGs while further improving the convenience of the system and developing technologies that will lead to more efficient operations for everyone.

What is the Kyoto City Shining Regional Company Award?

In 2019, Kyoto City is implementing the "Kyoto City Ordinance on Promotion of Sustainable Development of Local Enterprises" in order to support enterprises that inherit and develop together with the community as "local enterprises" on a citizen-wide and community-wide basis, in cooperation with proactive discussions at the "Future Power Conference" of small and medium enterprises and local enterprises and the "Global Enterprise Declaration".

The initiative created based on this purpose is the "Kyoto City Shining Regional Company Award".

Sugitec's corporate activities to date have been recognized by this award, and we will continue to contribute to local communities through our main business of building diagnosis and renovation, as well as to work on activities and contributions to the SDGs.
